Describe a significant breakthrough in your development as a writer.
A significant breakthrough in my development as a writer occurred when I set out to write my first-year paper, a literature review on the uncanny valley hypothesis. This paper was not only my first research project in graduate school but also my introduction to academic writing in English. I've since learned much about writing and am still learning. For me, efficient writing often requires a readiness to deconstruct one’s current draft in order to reconstruct it.
